Camp Eden Woods is located a short 20 minute drive away from one of Canada’s National Historic Site’s - Algonquin Provincial Park. Spanning across a vast 7,653 square kilometres, it is the oldest provincial park in Canada and its home to 2,400 lakes.
It is considered a unique spot for wildlife and is there subject to a large amount of research as it boasts an uncommon diversity of animal and plant species. We offer our campers a chance to canoe, portage and hike through the park for three days and experience Algonquin to it’s fullest. The trip ends spectacularly arriving back at camp on canoes to fellow campmates cheering in the water and ‘We Are The Champions’ playing!
Full training for all the outdoor adventure skills required to conquer Algonquin are provided beforehand. It’s a truly unique experience that will test camper’s ability to the max but is an experience of a lifetime and teaches essential skills required for camping needed for a lifetime.
